Dynotots is a small community-based Not-for-Profit preschool that offers a number of learning programmes for children aged between one (1) and five (5) years of age. It is located in a converted villa with leafy and peaceful surrounds in the APSC Residential Compound in An Phu, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In 1995 a small group of BP Exploration and Operations families received company funds to start up a playgroup for their children. Word spread quickly and soon families outside the BP group were asking for space in the programs. Dynotots has grown and matured with each year and the passion and dedication shared among all those involved in the Dynotots community persists. To this day BP Exploration and Operations continues to support Dynotots.
Since the school s beginnings, Head Teacher Emily Huckson, a certified teacher from Canada, has been the inspiration behind the school s philosophy and resulting success.
Dynotots is a safe haven where young children can feel at home, where they are encouraged to learn through play and foster emotional intelligence the foundation on which the Dynotots concept developed
The Dynotots team believes that every child should be treated as an individual, in a small and nurturing environment. This, in turn, provides each child with the opportunity to develop self-confidence and respect for one another. Ultimately, the Dynotots program equips children with social and life skills that will prepare them for the big world .
In keeping with its community spirit, Dynotots supports local orphanages through donations from the community of cash and living essentials.
The school s administration and policies are managed by a Management Board of dedicated parents who volunteer their time for the positive growth and future development of the school.
