International Students
Applicants who are
not U. S. citizens or are not permanent residents of the U. S. are
considered for admissions on the same basis as citizens or
permanent residents. However, because of the different
processing requirements and time/distance issues (especially for
mail), applications and other materials for admission should be
submitted as early as possible. Be aware that most U. S. students
apply for university entrance typically a year in advance of
their anticipated starting dates. Deadlines for submission of
international student application materials are as follows:
Fall semester start - May 1 application submission
Spring semester start - October 1 application submission
Summer terms start - February 1 application submission |
The following
requirements must be met by an international applicant in order
to begin studies in either undergraduate or graduate programs as
a degree-seeking F-1 or J-1 student at the University of North
Florida:
