The main building houses the administrative offices, assembly hall, library, boarding section, and purpose-built rooms for art, music and information technology, and secondary teaching facilities. Newly constructed extensions to the main building house laboratories for practical work in biology, physics and chemistry, a spacious dining-room and kitchen and classrooms. The junior department is a self-contained unit based in the Chalet. It is equipped with full amenities including a library and specialist rooms for music and cookery. The aim of the lower secondary school years (years 7-9) is to provide a broad, balanced curriculum. The emphasis is to establish a solid base in numeracy, literacy and information technology skills, and to develop good study habits. Students choose from the many subjects on offer at IGCSE level in years 10 and 11 and follow the IB Diploma programme or the High School Diploma Programme in the final two years of secondary school.
