Study Arts and Social Sciences
in New Zealand
The
University of Waikato
New Zealand The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is the largest School of Studies
at the University of Waikato. As such, we take pride in the subjects we
teach and the research of our academic staff. Faculty academics are
leaders of national and international research covering all aspects of
the Humanities and Social Sciences.
During your time at Waikato, we hope that you will develop pride in
the knowledge and skills you gain through individual learning, group
discussions, and the guidance of your tutors and lecturers - because
your knowledge and skills will impact within our local and national
communities. The universal values of our subjects do not change because
they have been around for thousands of years; but our ways of teaching
and the content of our papers do, as a continual process of providing
our students with contemporary theories and concepts.
Over the years, the Arts and the Social Sciences at Waikato have
produced thousands of graduates who are making their name, personally
and professionally, throughout the world. We welcome you to join them,
but above all, we welcome you to our Faculty to be introduced to the
pleasure of academic challenge, and of learning for learning's sake.
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers a range of opportunities
for international students intending to study at The University of Waikato
whether it's for one semester or longer.
We welcome students from around the world to browse our webpages and
contact us with any questions about our disciplines. If you wish to apply
to study in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences you will need to
contact the International Centre who will advise you of the application
processes.

because that is what learning is all about!
|
