Semarang International SchoolSemarang International School was founded by parents in 1982 who recognised a need for an educational institution that would enable easy transition upon repatriation. Since then, Semarang international School (SIS) has opened its doors to Indonesian nationals who want their children to be lifelong learners and learn in the medium of English. CURRICULUM Semarang international School (SIS) follows the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) Primary Years Programme, the only PYP school in Semarang. STAFF Six expatriate native English speaking teachers with minimun Bachelors of Education degrees and a minimum of 4 years teaching service. Each class has at least 1 qualified Indonesian teaching assistant. Ongoing PYP training provided in house and via IBO authorised workshops and conferences. There are 16 teaching staff in all.
