Higher Education in CambodiaCambodia's higher education system consists of universities and technical and professional training institutions. The country's university level programs for Bachelor's degrees, or equivalent, typically run four years. Completion of education in medicine and dentistry fields usually take seven years, with pharmacy and architecture programs running for six years. Cambodia's network of public higher education institutions offer instruction in agriculture, medicine, economics, industry, technology, teacher training, science, art and culture. Its technical and professional training institutions provide tertiary-level programs that take two to three years to complete. There is one private university with degree programs and several private higher-education institutions offering non-degree studies. Cambodia's higher education enrollment has been over 45, 000. Women make up approximately 25% of all students.
